Educational Qualification
- Havildar and Naib Subedar: Minimum qualification is Matriculation (10th pass) from a recognized board.
Sports Achievements
- Medalist at Junior/Senior level by representing a State in National competitions or representing India at the International level.
- Medalist in Khelo India Games, Youth Games, or University Games.
Age Limit
- Minimum: 17.5 years
- Maximum: 25 years
- Born Between: 31st March 2000 and 1st April 2007 (inclusive).
Selection Process

- Shortlisting based on higher sports achievements.
- Physical Fitness Test
- 1.6 km Run:
- Male: 5 minutes 45 seconds
- Female: 8 minutes
- 9 Feet Ditch: Male
- 10 Feet Long Jump: Female
- Zig-Zag Balance: Male
- 3 Feet High Jump: Female
- 1.6 km Run:
- Skill Test
- Conducted in the respective sports discipline.
- Medical Examination
- Conducted by the Army Medical Team at the trial site.
- Merit List
- Prepared based on performance in trials and medical fitness.
