Qualification for Indian Army Recruitment 2025
As per the official notification, the following qualifications are required:
- For SSC(Tech)-65 Men and SSCW(Tech)-36 Women:
- Candidates must have completed or be in the final year of a BE/B.Tech degree in the relevant engineering stream.
- Final-year students must submit proof of passing the Engineering Degree Examination (along with mark sheets of all semesters/years) by October 1, 2025.
- The Engineering Degree Certificate must be produced within 12 weeks of the training commencement at PCTA.
- For Widows of Defence Personnel Only:
- SSC(W) Tech: Applicants must have a BE/B.Tech degree in any technical stream.
- SSC(W)(Non-Tech) (Non-UPSC): Candidates must hold a Graduation degree in any stream.
Age Limit for Indian Army Recruitment 2025
According to the Indian Army Recruitment 2025 notification, the age criteria are as follows:
- For SSC(Tech)-65 Men and SSCW(Tech)-36 Women: 20 to 27 years as of October 1, 2025.
- For Widows of Defence Personnel: Maximum age limit is 35 years.
Salary for Indian Army Recruitment 2025
Selected candidates will receive a competitive monthly salary ranging from ₹56,100 to ₹1,77,500, as per Army Pay Rules. In addition to the basic pay, other allowances and benefits will be provided, including medical facilities, accommodation, and retirement benefits.
